Happy Birthday to me! Jonny vs. Masked Menace

It’s my birthday! I’m not planning on doing much today. After I get done posting this (and doing an update for Club Firestorm Members), I plan on hitting the gym, cooking dinner, and calling it a night. Today isn’t totally uneventful for me though, I’ve been working all morning on getting this update ready.

Jonny Firestorm vs. Masked Menace

In my newest download offering, I take on the Masked Menace, who might look familiar to those of you who are active on the private wrestling scene. He’s a skilled wrestler, and he packs a lot of power in his strikes and submission holds. We hold nothing back as we pummel, stretch, and slam each other around the squared circle.

The sweat flows as the intensity is taken up a notch. There’s a lot of submissions, reversals, crotch grabs, humiliating pins and holds. The bout doesn’t end until one of us is knocked out.

The match is available to purchase in the store (or using the button below). Remember, Club Firestorm members get a 50% discount in the Discounted VOD section of Club Firestorm! By now, I shouldn’t have to remind everybody that if you’re going to buy the match at full price, you might as well join Club Firestorm. It costs the same amount for the membership and the match. The real bonus is you’d get access to all the great Club Firestorm content, including the free streaming matches. Or you could just buy the video at full price. Whatever floats your boat. I should mention, Club Firestorm members are getting an exclusive DVD offering today that has the only jockstrap match that I’ve ever done!

Jonny vs. Masked Menace. 23 minutes, $50

My new diet and work out routine is going very well. I had a killer leg day that I’m still feeling. It’s still the fist week, but I’ve enjoyed every aspect of it so far. I’m eating a lot more than I did last time I dieted (healthy, portioned food of course), so I’m not as cranky. The work outs are killer. After the fact, I appreciate the hard work I put in, but at the time it’s brutal. Hopefully in another week or two, I’ll start seeing enough of a difference to post some progress pictures.

I didn’t watch SummerSlam this year, there wasn’t much on it that interested me. However, the NXT show the night before was great. I think I enjoy NXT more than the current WWE product. It’s always good to see Finn Balor in action, even though he beat me. The women’s match was phenomenal, the best wrestling match I’ve seen on WWE programming in a while. Seeing Liger in a WWE ring was kind of cool. The whole show from top to bottom, was very solid.

There’s still a couple spots open in the Firestorm Fantasy Football league, so leave a comment if you’re interested (I don’t approve the fantasy football comments, so no worries about exposing your name/email, etc if you’re worried about people seeing you want to join).

Speaking of football. I want to go to the New England/Denver game, in Denver this year. Does anybody have a ticket connection?

Finally, to wrap things up. I’m including a donation button below, in case anybody wants to give me a birthday gift. I’ll be using whatever funds to buy new gym clothes, possibly buy those football tickets if nothing else comes through, pay off some bills, or maybe just do something fun.

Firestorm Fri…Saturday? A decade of Firestorm.

I’m late with my Firestorm Friday update. I filmed a couple matches yesterday for the website, and checked out a pro show that a couple of my friends were on. When I got home, I threw some ice on my knee, had dinner, and went right to bed.

Firestorm Friday’s offering this week is going to be a test run of a new feature on the website. I’m going to test out running an auction for a pair of ring worn black pro trunks. I’ve worn these on various pro shows, and are the same trunks I wore in my matches against Guido Genatto on the Challenger 3, and Riley on the Challenger 2. I just wore them recently in a private match. If you win the auction,  you can let me know if you want them washed, or still ring worn.

Club Firestorm Members will notice the latest update has been added.

I don’t know how I missed it, but this past March was the 10 year anniversary of my very first BG East match. 10 years?! It doesn’t seem like that can be right. Time flies when you’re beating up jobbers. Maybe I can talk to Kid Leopard and do something special to commemorate the “Decade of Firestorm”.

Firestorm Friday #2. Preview of CF content.

It’s another Firestorm Friday, I would’ve had this posting up sooner, but I had a private wrestling match today. The match was fun, it was against a long time friend who I’ve wrestled almost the entire duration of my BGE career! He enjoys egging me on, so to start the match he wore a Peyton Manning shirt. Of course after some witty banter, I ripped it off him and hit a series of pec chops. He gained the upper hand early in the match, but I managed to turn things around after a piledriver. From there on out, it was repeated corner beatings, and working him over as he was tied in the ropes. After he was worn down, I finished him off with a torture rack.  It’s all in a day’s work. 🙂

As part of Firestorm Friday, I’m going to give everybody a brief preview of some of the free content Club Firestorm members enjoy. This free content preview will be removed next (Firestorm) Friday.
Jonny vs. Skip Vance & Christian Taylor, free video clip

Members get free video preview clips of matches, added every update.

Below is a sample of what a Club Firestorm photo gallery looks like. Of course there’s not nearly as many photos here, and they’re from assorted matches, but you get the idea.

Club Firestorm members also get 2 free streaming video matches per month, exclusive blogs, exclusive download and DVD match options, and more!

Also, current Club Firestorm members, the exclusive DVD I offered for last week’s Firestorm Friday (click here to see the blog post about it– members only), will be discontinued tomorrow night. So you have 24 more hours to get it. I think going forward, I’ll add new Firestorm Friday DVD’s on Wednesdays, that way you can hopefully get them in time for weekend viewing, and leave them up for a week before taking them down.

The month of Firestorm continues as we get closer and closer to my birthday. Expect more limited time content, and special releases.

Hope everybody has a good weekend!

Jonny

It’s Firestorm Friday!

New download, custom tapings

I’ve just added a new download to the store. This one is definitely something out of the ordinary for what you’ve typically found on my website so far. The premise of this match is that I’m training to win a gold medal at the Ball Bash Olympics. My previous training partner quit on me, and training solo hasn’t been going so well. Luckily for me, Drake Marcos walks in and volunteers his sack for punishment. Drake took quite the ball bashing, he wasn’t walking right for the next day or two. I’m happy to report, that I did win gold. So his suffering wasn’t in vain. The bashing happens in, and out of his jockstrap. It’s a 27 minute download, available now, in the store for $60 (or $30 for all you Club Firestorm members).

Food for thought. If you aren’t currently a Club Firestorm member, and you plan on purchasing this bout, why not join first? The $25 sign up, plus the 50% discount on the match, will bring the total to $55 spent. Still under the $60 on the main site. Plus, you’d have access to all of the other great content. The two FREE streaming matches this month are Jonny vs. Chace LaChance: the Cult, and the Challenger 3: Jonny vs. Guido Genatto. Plus you’d have access to the other Club Firestorm members only exclusive match, free photo galleries, video clips, discounts on all the other downloadable videos available on jonnyfirestorm.com and exclusive members only blog posts. Just saying 🙂

I had a killer session at the gym today. I hit my biceps and triceps super hard. I wasn’t really amped up to go to the gym today, I couldn’t find any motivation at first. So I threw on a tank top and decided to hit the glamour muscles. After the first set, and seeing how bad ass (I thought at least) I looked with a pump, it was all the motivation I needed to power through the rest of my routine. I finished it off with an ab routine, and called it a day. I’ve rededicated myself to eating clean as well. With all the traveling I did last month, it was hard to keep on top of my diet.

I had a private 2 on 1 wrestling session yesterday as well. Actually, come to think of it, my last two private matches have been 2 on 1 matches. They’ve both been a lot of fun as well. One out in Chicago with Cameron Matthews (at first as my partner, but I double crossed him, and beat him up), and the one yesterday with other wrestlers. In the match yesterday, I KOed my opponent with a figure 4 head scissors, and could’ve easily with my sleeper hold as well. I was making him ask permission to give up, and then depending on my mood, I’d allow him to ask, or deny him his request. It as a fun little game, something I’d like to use in future videos.

I’m also planning another video taping coming up, the date isn’t quite set yet, but it will be in July, possibly multiple weekends depending on availability. But I expect to be seeing Damien Rush, Biff Farrell, and Brute Baynard. All of whom, look more muscular and better than ever. I also think I’ll be seeing Lon Dumont, Kayden Keller, Ty Alexander, and a couple of my pro friends or nameless jobbers. We’ll definitely have time to take some scripts. customs@jonnyfirestorm.com

I’m going to leave things on this note

http://www.gronkspartyship.com

I need to go on this. He’s wrestled his brothers shirtless in night clubs, if I can get a video of me wrestling Gronk…    anyways, till next time Firestormers.

The Challenger 4, CF video preview

The Challenger 4 has been added to the store, it’s a 21 minute download available for $25 (or $15 in the discounted VODs tab, for Club Firestorm members). http://jonnyfirestorm.com/vod.html

I go toe to toe with Rolf Fulton, in a 21 minute, back and forth pro heel battle. The bout starts with the both of us on our best behavior, exchanging some methodical back and forth wrestling holds. A couple minutes into the match, we both pump up the intensity, out come the slams, low blows, rope usage, and intense submissions.

I’ve also put up a free preview clip for Club Firestorm. Keep in mind, this is a preview clip, so the actual action can be a lot hotter than advertised. For those of you still on the fence about Club Firestorm, you’ve missed out on some great exclusive content. A sexy 2 on 1 beatdown of Christian Taylor & Skip Vance, a Ball Bash match, demolishing porn stud Logan Vaughn, and an exclusive Custom Combat DVD against Ty Alexander.

I’m also adding free clips and photo galleries from all of the matches available on both jonnyfirestorm.com and Club Firestorm.

Speaking of Club Firestorm, I’ve updated the navigation structure so that photo galleries no longer appear under the Blog Post tab. I realized it could lead to clutter, and it was difficult to find the actual blog posts among the hundreds of photos. I also accidentally published one of next months updates early, so enjoy the Jonny vs Austin Cooper photos!

I also have a question for all of you. Would you like the option of having the matches available on DVD? I thought downloads were the way to go in 2015, but I’ve received some request for DVDs. I’d make DVD options available of all Club Firestorm members.

That does it for now Firestormers, till next time!

Florida tomorrow… err… today!

I’m going to Florida tomorrow for a weekend of BG East video tapings, and some of my own as well. I still need to pack my suitcase, I can’t ever seem to get the damn thing packed any sooner than the night before. I have no problem getting the equipment together, but unless the flight is 10 hours away or less, the suitcase is an impossibility.

I’ll have some free time over the weekend to film one or two more custom match requests. I’m not 100% sure about the available roster, but these are the confirmed wrestlers that I have available:

Drake Marcos

Lane Hartley will also be around.

There will be some others, but I’m not sure of their interest filming custom matches.

Because I’m going to be away frequently in June, I’m going to release the bulk of all the Club Firestorm content right away on the first. Usually it would be spread over some time, but I don’t want to get caught up during the tapings, and not have time to update.

I spent some of Memorial Day with Cameron. I consider him to be one of my closest friends, and whenever we’re together it’s a good time. Here we are trying to decide who gets to roll first in Monopoly.

Well, that about does it for now. I’ve got a suitcase to pack!

Pro2, Club Firestorm update, and more

I’ve added Pro 2 to the store. It’s a 12 minute pro match from the last show I was on. It’s $15 on the main site, or $10 for Club Firestorm members.

pro2-7 pro2-3

Speaking of Club Firestorm, I’ve been updating it with photo galleries for the past week. I’m about to throw another one up today that features stills from the FREE streaming video for this month, Jonny vs. Brad Barnes! I’m also getting ready to upload more Free Video Clips. I have more stuff in the work for Club Firestorm members, so if you’re not a member yet, check it out. If you are, stay tuned! I’m glad to get such positive feedback about the site, and especially about the Exclusive Custom Combat DVD. It’s very satisfying for me to know people enjoy the work I’m doing.

I haven’t really been feeling it in the gym lately. I haven’t really felt normal. I don’t feel sick, I just don’t feel right for some reason. So I bumped my training down to 3 days last week and didn’t do anything super strenuous. My diet also took a hit (surprise, surprise). Eating differently really didn’t seem to make me feel much better, other than having much more energy because of my increased carb intake. I’ve felt alright the past two days though, so I’ll see if I can hit the ground running on Monday.

I saw Age of Ultron two times. The first time, I left feeling kind of disappointed. I saw it again a couple days later, and thought it was much better. I think I had my expectations set so high that I was going to be let down no matter what. My one ongoing complaint about most of the Marvel movies is the villains. None of them seem really bad ass. They do have their moments against the good guys, but they always get beat with ease in the end (a dance off beats Ronan). The battle of NY in the First Avengers, Captain America vs. the Winter Soldier, and the final fight in the first Iron Man movie are the only real exceptions I can think of. In Age of Ultron, it seemed like every Avenger had their turn beating Ultron individually. Sure, they would fight a little first, but he didn’t seem like a threat until he had his entire army of robots behind him. I also don’t like how they have every movie announced for the next 5 years (and all the super heroes that will be in them) or whatever it is. When you  know the movie titles and the actors that have been announced, you know for a fact nothing bad can happen to any of the main characters during the movie. So I found myself not being as invested in any of the fights during the movie as I should’ve been. Also, does every movie need a big fight in the sky with the fate of the world hanging in the balance? Why couldn’t it be under the sea, against sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads? Anyways…

My favorite bar had a charity auction the other night. I was happy to walk away with a couple things I bid on, the coolest items being an Autographed Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman photo. I also got to meet Malcolm Butler, he didn’t seem like he was in the best mood, so I didn’t want to hound him for a picture. But I’m slowly but surely meeting some key members of this past years Super Bowl team by accident. Gronk on a flight back from NY, big Vince Wilfork coming back from FL and now Butler. If I can cross off Edelman, McCourty, and of course Tom Brady, I’ll be happy. Speaking of Tom Brady, I hope somebody can piledrive Roger Goodell for him.

My first BG East match

I have a couple of my older blog posts saved and plan on publishing them again periodically. I’m nearly done with another project that should (hopefully) be something very exciting for all you Firestorm fanatics. So then, enjoy this blast from the past!

Most of you think my first match was against Brad Rochelle, in the Contract 6. That was my first match to get released, but I had wrestled several matches prior to that. Now I’m not going to spoil the surprise, and tell you who all my opponents were, and what happened. I will tell you about the first match I ever did for BG East, and my thoughts leading up to it.

I was 19, or maybe I was almost 19. Jeez, I’m already messing up my own story. I swear it will get better from here on out. Either way, the point is, I was still very young, only 2 years into my professional wrestling “career”. Cameron Matthews had been on my case for some time to come do BG East. I was hesitant. Not because of the content but because I was worried it would somehow impact my pro career. I finally decided to give it a go. What’s the worst that could happen? At worst some sleazy promoter doesn’t give me $15 to come wrestle on his crappy show in front of 20 people? I could live with that.

I was very nervous about going to BGE. I didn’t really know what to expect, how the people were going to be, what I would have to wear. At the time, I was a verrrrrrry shy kid. I wore baggy wrestling pants for gear on shows. I just recently started wresting without a shirt on. I know, horrendous gear choice, but it was sort of “in” at the time. Especially if you were a shitty Indy wrestler. Lol.

Cameron agreed to pick me up. I was either carless at the time or my car wouldn’t have made the trip, I forget which. During the ride in, I didn’t really ask much about how this all was going to work. I wanted to, but didn’t want to bring it up for some reason. Besides, we had plenty to talk about with the local pro scene, and our dreams of becoming WWE Superstars. We were nearly at BG East, and I was still pretty nervous about how things were going to go. Part of me expected to pull up to some sketchy looking wrestling bathhouse.

Pulling up to the BGE facility, I was in awe… definitely not a bathhouse. If you know of the facilities or have ever seen photos, you know what I’m talking about. Upon entering, I was greeted by Kid Leopard and the rest of the staff. KL was very personable, and helped put me at ease. We were behind schedule (for those of you who know me, you’re not surprised) so we had to rush through the pleasantries, and get right to work.

The arena had more wrestling stuff in one room than I had ever seen. I had some of the same toys as a kid. Lol. Now it was time for the dreaded gearing up process. I was terrified. I tried on several things, and hated all of them. It wasn’t because he was throwing me in g-strings or anything but I was just so used to wearing baggy stuff, I had never tried on anything this tight. Well, other than my wrestling singlet, that covered a lot more though. I hated the way everything looked. I was pasty white, had razor bumps all over me, not an ounce of muscle and had on these little black speedos with flames on the front. Now that the gear was decided it was onto the match, I was nervous about what I’d be called though. I definitely didn’t want to use my real name, for the obvious reasons.

“Firestorm”, Cameron jokes. I’m assuming the flames on the trunks are what made him think of it. KL agreed, Firestorm worked. Jon is my real name so Jonny was the easy first name. I wasn’t in love with it but at least it wasn’t something like “Rod Steel” or some other typical porn name. Now, I honestly couldn’t picture going by any other name. So big props to Cam for that!

Taking pictures always made me uncomfortable. I never really was photogenic and now I’m in the tightest, smallest pair of speedos I had ever seen, trying to flex my non existent muscle for KL. I couldn’t wait to finish with all the prematch stuff, and get to the wrestling. When I look back at it, I can’t help but laugh. These days (because I’m in shape) I can’t wait to put on some form fitting, sexy trunks and take some pictures. I still don’t think I’m particularly photogenic (not like some of the other wrestlers) but I enjoy it.

Cameron and I warmed up, stretched out a bit. Talked a little shit pre-match, and prepared to do battle. That’s kinda been the fun thing about being friends with Cameron. We both get along very well, but when it comes to wrestling it’s different. Almost like we both have split personalities. It’s understood that whatever happens in the ring, or on camera stays there. One of us might have some bumps and bruises, or a battered ego after, but we don’t (or try not to) let it carry over into our personal life. It was a tough match, I didn’t really “get” what we were going for. I asked for some guidance from KL before the match and he was more than happy to offer up how he’d like to see Cameron tortured.

It wasn’t a squash job by any means. I don’t think I was capable of such a thing at the time. It was a tough match with some good back and forth. I won’t spoil the match by revealing details. I haven’t watched the match in quite some time, but looking back on it, I think you’ll be able to tell I was a Indy wrestler doing BG East. I approached and treated the match like I would any other on a wrestling show. It was go, go, go. I wasn’t methodically inflicting pain, and punishment on Cam like I would now. I tried to be a bad ass, but I had never been a heel before! I was always interested in being a heel, and felt like it came naturally to me. More so than faking the baby face role. Once it’s released, I’d like to watch it, followed up by something recent. Just to see the difference and evolution of my wrestling style.

Post match, I had a nice chat with KL. We got along great. He said I’d be welcome back if I was interested in continuing by BG East career. Obviously I took him up on the offer and the rest is history!
