Firestorm Friday #2. Preview of CF content.

It’s another Firestorm Friday, I would’ve had this posting up sooner, but I had a private wrestling match today. The match was fun, it was against a long time friend who I’ve wrestled almost the entire duration of my BGE career! He enjoys egging me on, so to start the match he wore a Peyton Manning shirt. Of course after some witty banter, I ripped it off him and hit a series of pec chops. He gained the upper hand early in the match, but I managed to turn things around after a piledriver. From there on out, it was repeated corner beatings, and working him over as he was tied in the ropes. After he was worn down, I finished him off with a torture rack.  It’s all in a day’s work. 🙂

As part of Firestorm Friday, I’m going to give everybody a brief preview of some of the free content Club Firestorm members enjoy. This free content preview will be removed next (Firestorm) Friday.
Jonny vs. Skip Vance & Christian Taylor, free video clip

Members get free video preview clips of matches, added every update.

Below is a sample of what a Club Firestorm photo gallery looks like. Of course there’s not nearly as many photos here, and they’re from assorted matches, but you get the idea.

Club Firestorm members also get 2 free streaming video matches per month, exclusive blogs, exclusive download and DVD match options, and more!

Also, current Club Firestorm members, the exclusive DVD I offered for last week’s Firestorm Friday (click here to see the blog post about it– members only), will be discontinued tomorrow night. So you have 24 more hours to get it. I think going forward, I’ll add new Firestorm Friday DVD’s on Wednesdays, that way you can hopefully get them in time for weekend viewing, and leave them up for a week before taking them down.

The month of Firestorm continues as we get closer and closer to my birthday. Expect more limited time content, and special releases.

Hope everybody has a good weekend!

Jonny

Pro2, Club Firestorm update, and more

I’ve added Pro 2 to the store. It’s a 12 minute pro match from the last show I was on. It’s $15 on the main site, or $10 for Club Firestorm members.

Speaking of Club Firestorm, I’ve been updating it with photo galleries for the past week. I’m about to throw another one up today that features stills from the FREE streaming video for this month, Jonny vs. Brad Barnes! I’m also getting ready to upload more Free Video Clips. I have more stuff in the work for Club Firestorm members, so if you’re not a member yet, check it out. If you are, stay tuned! I’m glad to get such positive feedback about the site, and especially about the Exclusive Custom Combat DVD. It’s very satisfying for me to know people enjoy the work I’m doing.

I haven’t really been feeling it in the gym lately. I haven’t really felt normal. I don’t feel sick, I just don’t feel right for some reason. So I bumped my training down to 3 days last week and didn’t do anything super strenuous. My diet also took a hit (surprise, surprise). Eating differently really didn’t seem to make me feel much better, other than having much more energy because of my increased carb intake. I’ve felt alright the past two days though, so I’ll see if I can hit the ground running on Monday.

I saw Age of Ultron two times. The first time, I left feeling kind of disappointed. I saw it again a couple days later, and thought it was much better. I think I had my expectations set so high that I was going to be let down no matter what. My one ongoing complaint about most of the Marvel movies is the villains. None of them seem really bad ass. They do have their moments against the good guys, but they always get beat with ease in the end (a dance off beats Ronan). The battle of NY in the First Avengers, Captain America vs. the Winter Soldier, and the final fight in the first Iron Man movie are the only real exceptions I can think of. In Age of Ultron, it seemed like every Avenger had their turn beating Ultron individually. Sure, they would fight a little first, but he didn’t seem like a threat until he had his entire army of robots behind him. I also don’t like how they have every movie announced for the next 5 years (and all the super heroes that will be in them) or whatever it is. When you  know the movie titles and the actors that have been announced, you know for a fact nothing bad can happen to any of the main characters during the movie. So I found myself not being as invested in any of the fights during the movie as I should’ve been. Also, does every movie need a big fight in the sky with the fate of the world hanging in the balance? Why couldn’t it be under the sea, against sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads? Anyways…

My favorite bar had a charity auction the other night. I was happy to walk away with a couple things I bid on, the coolest items being an Autographed Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman photo. I also got to meet Malcolm Butler, he didn’t seem like he was in the best mood, so I didn’t want to hound him for a picture. But I’m slowly but surely meeting some key members of this past years Super Bowl team by accident. Gronk on a flight back from NY, big Vince Wilfork coming back from FL and now Butler. If I can cross off Edelman, McCourty, and of course Tom Brady, I’ll be happy. Speaking of Tom Brady, I hope somebody can piledrive Roger Goodell for him.
