Before I jump into the tour announcement I want to take a moment to give CabaRestle their flowers. They’re a local wrestling promotion that puts on shows with drag performances, live music, and burlesque performances all featuring members of the community or its closest allies. I wrestled my first match on a live show in quite a long time last night for them. It was a pride weekend kickoff and it did not disappoint. I picked up a hard-fought win over Charlie Panther, but the experience itself was more enjoyable than picking up the win. I’m older than most people on the show, so even though pride shows are very common these days, when I first started, they weren’t. My brother was part of the crew for the show, it’s the first time we’ve ever worked on the same show together, which added a little extra meaning to it for me. There were 3 wrestlers on the show, 2 of whom are gay and out, that I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of their training, and they killed it. There were lots of old friends at the show, and I made some new ones. It was just a very cool night, I’m not sure how many shows I have left in me, but I’m glad this was one of them.
And now then matter at hand. Jonny crossing the US! Once again, I’ll be traveling, across the country and back. Private matches, custom videos, boot sessions, muscle worship, you have an idea? Maybe I can make a stop into a city near you.
