After taking home a gold medal in the winter games, Jonny is training for the summer Ball Bash Olympics, this time his training partner is Ty Alexander (Drake still isn’t walking right after the first Ball Bash Olympics). After inspecting Ty’s bulge, Jonny’s not impressed with the size of his practice dummy, which only adds fuel to the fire. I’m going to be having a large video shoot this weekend. I’ll be wrestling on video for the first time since my knee injury. I won’t lie, I’m a little nervous. Not about my ability, but that I’m going to hurt myself again. I’ve talked to other wrestlers who have had serious knee injuries before, and they said it’s just a matter of getting comfortable again. After you get into the swing of things, your nervousness goes away. It makes sense, I know I can physically do everything that I want, but there’s still this fear of “what if my knee gives out”. Even when I’m outside shoveling snow, or walking around if it’s icy out. Nothings happened, I think I just because spent the last 5 or 6 months not being able to move around very well, or do much of anything. I’m sure that after match number one, I’ll be fine. I’ve already done one private match, and had no set backs whatsoever.
I’m really looking forward to the shoot though, I have a great cast of wrestlers coming in. I’ll be crafting a second post about that later. My diet has been mostly on point, I’ve had two cheat days. Not full days, but moments of weakness around dinner time. One night I was near my favorite bar, I knew I didn’t have dinner planned, it was getting late, I didn’t want to cook, so I stopped in and grabbed some wings, potato skins, and had a couple drinks. My Mom gave me a box of Reeses miniatures yesterday for Valentines day, so I had the whole box. I’d rather get rid of them all at once instead of having them around tempting me multiple days. Since I already broke the diet, I decided to get Chinese food and have a couple beers while I watched the Walking Dead midseason premier. Spoilers below, so if you haven’t watched it, don’t click the read more tab!

Other than the Patriots loss, I’ve been having a pretty good week. I started dieting again, I managed to get through the whole week without breaking it. I’ve also been hitting the gym significantly harder than I thought I’d be able to at this point. I’m not going crazy with the weights, especially with leg exercises, but I’m able to do more than I anticipated. I’m documenting my progress, so I should have some cool before & after transformation pictures to go along with a blog update down the line. I haven’t decided what my goal is just yet. Last time I went hard with the diet and work out was when I first started the blog, and I ended up being pretty lean. I think I might have been a little too lean, I’d like to be able to retain, or pack on a little more muscle this time. I don’t mind carrying weight on me, obviously, I’ve had it on for quite some time. I know many of you are fans of a beefier Jonny, but lately I’ve just felt so unhealthy. Plus, some of my favorite pants aren’t fitting the way they should, so it’s time to do something about it.
The Patriots… I don’t know what else to say, other than they were out coached. You could literally change nothing about that game, other than the two 4th quarter, 4th down attempts, and it would be very probably the Patriots win those games. I didn’t understand, and I still don’t now, why the hell they didn’t just kick the damn field goal both times. They were down by 8, they had trouble moving the ball, they get into scoring position, and they roll the dice? Why?!?! The Broncos weren’t exactly moving the ball up and down the field, I wasn’t scared in the least bit that Denver was capable of driving down and putting up more points. Even if they missed one of those FG attempts, it still cuts the lead down to 5, and that last second TD is a game winner as opposed to possibly tie game situation if you convert the 2. Sigh… oh well. I think Denver is going to get beat on in the SB, not as bad as Seattle whooped them, but it won’t be pretty. We’re on to 2016.
I’m working on a couple improvements with how the wrestler listings, photo gallery page (again) and wrestler content page(s) is displayed. The improvements will include photos of each wrestler, and the new wrestler pages will have a more automated (aka. easier for me) way of working, and the displays will feature thumbnails for each linked item (photo gallery, VOD, etc). So it will be much easier to look, and see what match it is, as opposed to looking at a bunch of match listings. It should also cut down on load times for some of the larger pages.

Jonny Firestorm & Ethan Andrews team for the first time ever to take on the team of Brad Barnes & Braden Charron. Tag matches can be a little chaotic, so our heel team made sure to hire an “impartial” referee, Morgan Cruise. Braden & Brad do their best to make this a competitive match, but the deck is stacked against them. Jonny & Ethan enjoy toying with the hunks, until a sudden reversal costs the heels a pin fall. This is a short lived victory however, as it causes Jonny & Ethan to go into a frenzy. Now the heels are out for blood, and trunks!

Now that the work part of this email is over, I’m excited to see the Patriots beat up on Kansas City this weekend. I don’t think Brady will play as poorly as he did the last time they met. I just hope they can pick up the win without getting too banged up. They definitely need everybody healthy if they’re going to make another run at the Super Bowl. Especially Edelman & Gronk.
I had a very minor set back with my knee. Nothing serous, just a little sore, so I’m taking it easy for the next week. I just tried to do more than I should, I need to remind myself to keep it simple. Patience isn’t my strong point, I just want to go full steam ahead.
That’s going to wrap this update up for now, I need to get some shut eye!

I made some small improvements (I hope) yesterday with how things work in the Club Firestorm membership area.
You’ll notice, there’s now a wrestlers section under the CF dropdown menu. This will allow you to click on the name of your favorite wrestler, and see all the content available. Photo galleries, VODs, DVDs, and free clips. The galleries are sorted to the top of the page, while the VODs/DVDs/Free clips are at the bottom.
Another big change is the way photo galleries appear. It was a pain in the neck to scroll through the photos section before, there were way too many photos showing up, it slowed things down, made it hard to browse through the available galleries etc. To fix this, I’ve hidden all the actual galleries, to view them, you need to click the link that says “Continue reading →“. That will bring you to the gallery. I’ve also added one large image above the name of each gallery. That way you can easily see which match it is, without reading the name, wondering who the wrestlers might be, which match it’s from etc. I think it works out better, it’s easier to navigate, the page loads much faster. I’m open to all feedback, so let me know what you think.
You’ll also notice there’s a new sub menu when you place your cursor over the Exclusive Content tab. Now you can view only the Exclusive VOD download options, or view all the exclusive DVD options. I’m also thinking about adding additional options that would let you view matches only involving me, matches that don’t involve me, and matches that contain nudity or other overly sexual elements (jockstraps etc). Thoughts?
Speaking of exclusive DVDs, I’m temporarily making the countdown to my birthday DVD’s available again. I’m going to be on the shelf with the ACL injury for awhile, I’d like have more appealing content available. A girl’s gotta eat, right? 🙂
