Jonny Firestorm vs. Braden Charron, now available to download

There’s a new match available in the VOD Store.

Jonny Firestorm vs. Braden Charron is a 25 minute, action packed squash job, and is available to download for $50 (or $25 for Club Firestorm members under the Discounted VODs tab).

Jonny and Aryx Quinn are competing against each other to see who can punish Braden into total submission. Braden will chose whoever punishes him the most as his master, giving up his body to the victor. Aryx’s match against Braden is already available to Club Firestorm Members in the Exclusive Content area. Which heel will emerge victorious and gain control of the body builder’s body? This is the second match in a three match trilogy. Jonny Firestorm vs. Aryx Quinn is coming in the near future.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, CF update

Now that I’ve had my day to sulk over the Patriots loss to Denver, it’s time to get back to work. This team is so good, it’s amazing what they’re able to do. They played and were beating the #1 defense in the NFL with 1 legitimate WR, an offensive line thats been patched together, and their backup RB. I know every team is banged up at this point, but look at how baron they are at WR. Even the WR group in Baltimore, or Carolina is better than what the Pats are playing with right now. I think the clock management was poor towards the end of the game, the pass play Gronk got hurt on should’ve been a run. That whole drive should’ve been run, run, run, punt if need be. It’s kind of good they lost, I think BB will be able to use that as motivation. ‘Dola will be back soon, Gronk will be healthy in a couple weeks, if things go well for Edelman, he’ll be back by week 17 or the playoffs, Collin’s & Hightower should be back up to speed in a couple weeks. The Lewis injury is still a tough one to deal with. I’m just glad they lost now, I couldn’t handle them going 16-0, just to lose in the SB again.

Anyways, onto the Jonny stuff.

My knee is feeling significantly better than it was the last time I posted. It’s still a little swollen, but I’m able to walk without crutches now. Just around the house and stuff, I don’t want to go overboard. I’ve started (gingerly) doing stairs. It feels good to use the leg again after not being able to put weight on it, or bend it for about a month. If things keep progressing like this, I’m hoping I’ll be back on my feet and squashing jobbers in a couple months.

Club Firestorm members will notice everything has been updated.

The free pro match is going to be added shortly, the video files are still rendering. The file type they were origionally in isn’t compatible with the video player I use, so I had to remake them.

The main website is going to have a new match added to it next week, it’s a match I think everybody will enjoy a lot. I’m going to give Club Firestorm members a pre-release version this weekend.

I’m very excited to have Aryx Quinn/Tristan Baldwin in the fold. He’s one of a kind. Often imitated, never duplicated. He’s as skilled as he is sexy, he’s versatile (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) so he can fight on the mats, just as easily as he can rumble in the ring. I’ve always enjoyed working with Aryx, even if we were staring each other down from opposite corners of the ring.

I was pretty bummed out after hurting my knee, but I think even being hurt, I can help contribute in a lot of ways, especially that I’m more mobile now. I was basically useless in FL for the BG East tapings. I was stuck in a chair holding a camera the whole time, I did get some great shots, but it’s not the best use of my skill set. I’m able to help demonstrate more moves now, I can still head to pro practices and offer my 2 cents. I think just getting out of the house and being around things I enjoy will help get be back on track faster. It’s been miserable laying around with my leg up. I’ve gone though everything on my DVR. I have had a chance to get some reading done, which is nice. I forgot how much I enjoyed to sit back with a book and relax.

That’ll do it for now, keep your eyes peeled next week for a brand new Jonny match, that will be available on the main site (or 50% off for Club Firestorm members, in the discounted VODs section).

Firestorm Friday, Sleeper Holds 1

This Friday, July 31st, will be Firestorm Friday. On Firestorm Friday, I’m going to make one of the exclusive Club Firestorm matches available to everybody, for the weekend only. At 12:01 A.M, Monday morning, it will go back to being a Club Firestorm exclusive match. It won’t be offered at the discount price that Club Firestorm members get, but it’s a one time special offer that is going to kick off the month of August, which happens to be my birthday month!

Club Firestorm members can expect some extra content thrown in this month as well. I’ve been experimenting making Blu-ray discs available, in addition to downloads. The picture quality is superb, but to commit to doing it, I would need to make some software improvements. Is Blu-ray something everybody would be interested in? I like to think that my downloads have good picture quality, but the Blu-ray test discs that I’ve made, blow them out of the water.

I’ve updated the store with a brand new download offering. Sleeper Holds 1: Jonny Firestorm vs. Damien Rush.

I ambush Damien while he’s in the middle of a posing session. Before the muscle stud knows what’s happening, he’s nearly KO’ed. I don’t want the fun to end there, I let him regain his composure, just to get locked into a different sleeper variation. I repeatedly sleeper out my new muscle play toy, standing, on the mat, in the ropes, and spread in the corner. A hot, sleeper hold lovers, dream bout.

Click here to visit the store and purchase the video. Remember, Club Firestorm members will be able to purchase this video at it’s discounted price on August 1st.

So far I have no actual plans for my birthday, I was hoping to have a big gathering out in Vegas, but most people couldn’t make it work. I’m open for suggestions. I think it’s likely that I’ll end up in Boston for the night. Speaking of Boston, I just spent a night out on the town with Cameron. We extended an invite to Scott Williams, but he wasn’t able to check out of the museum he’s kept in. It’s understandable, he’s an important part of the ancient history of jobbers.

That does it for now Firestormers!

Pro2, Club Firestorm update, and more

I’ve added Pro 2 to the store. It’s a 12 minute pro match from the last show I was on. It’s $15 on the main site, or $10 for Club Firestorm members.

pro2-7 pro2-3

Speaking of Club Firestorm, I’ve been updating it with photo galleries for the past week. I’m about to throw another one up today that features stills from the FREE streaming video for this month, Jonny vs. Brad Barnes! I’m also getting ready to upload more Free Video Clips. I have more stuff in the work for Club Firestorm members, so if you’re not a member yet, check it out. If you are, stay tuned! I’m glad to get such positive feedback about the site, and especially about the Exclusive Custom Combat DVD. It’s very satisfying for me to know people enjoy the work I’m doing.

I haven’t really been feeling it in the gym lately. I haven’t really felt normal. I don’t feel sick, I just don’t feel right for some reason. So I bumped my training down to 3 days last week and didn’t do anything super strenuous. My diet also took a hit (surprise, surprise). Eating differently really didn’t seem to make me feel much better, other than having much more energy because of my increased carb intake. I’ve felt alright the past two days though, so I’ll see if I can hit the ground running on Monday.

I saw Age of Ultron two times. The first time, I left feeling kind of disappointed. I saw it again a couple days later, and thought it was much better. I think I had my expectations set so high that I was going to be let down no matter what. My one ongoing complaint about most of the Marvel movies is the villains. None of them seem really bad ass. They do have their moments against the good guys, but they always get beat with ease in the end (a dance off beats Ronan). The battle of NY in the First Avengers, Captain America vs. the Winter Soldier, and the final fight in the first Iron Man movie are the only real exceptions I can think of. In Age of Ultron, it seemed like every Avenger had their turn beating Ultron individually. Sure, they would fight a little first, but he didn’t seem like a threat until he had his entire army of robots behind him. I also don’t like how they have every movie announced for the next 5 years (and all the super heroes that will be in them) or whatever it is. When you  know the movie titles and the actors that have been announced, you know for a fact nothing bad can happen to any of the main characters during the movie. So I found myself not being as invested in any of the fights during the movie as I should’ve been. Also, does every movie need a big fight in the sky with the fate of the world hanging in the balance? Why couldn’t it be under the sea, against sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads? Anyways…

My favorite bar had a charity auction the other night. I was happy to walk away with a couple things I bid on, the coolest items being an Autographed Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman photo. I also got to meet Malcolm Butler, he didn’t seem like he was in the best mood, so I didn’t want to hound him for a picture. But I’m slowly but surely meeting some key members of this past years Super Bowl team by accident. Gronk on a flight back from NY, big Vince Wilfork coming back from FL and now Butler. If I can cross off Edelman, McCourty, and of course Tom Brady, I’ll be happy. Speaking of Tom Brady, I hope somebody can piledrive Roger Goodell for him.
