You guys aren’t left out.. CF special offer.

The following post is for Club Firestorm (CF) members only. Need a compelling reason to join Club Firestorm? Check this link out, Club Firestorm info. If you don’t care what else is offered, but really want to know what I’m writing about, click here Join Club Firestorm. If you’re already a member, keep reading on. I’m only writing this lengthy intro, so people can’t read the post through the email preview. Well, that should just about do it. Now it’s time for the good stuff.

Don’t think I’d neglect my most loyal Firestormers. Technically you’re not getting anything special on Firestorm Friday, BUT, in celebration of Firestorm Friday, and the kick off of my birthday month, I’m adding an exclusive 4 match DVD just for Club Firestorm Members. Each match is an exclusive, never before seen bout. It’s run time is nearly 3 hours.

Match 1: Vampires- Jonny Firestorm & Morgan Cruise vs. Damien Rush

Match 2: Sleepers- Jonny Firestorm vs. Austin Cooper

Match 3: Terror- Jonny Firestorm vs. Kip Sorell

Match 4: Stripped- Jonny Firestorm vs. Braden Charron

This is a DVD set offering, the matches are not going to be offered on DVD in any other combination.

This exclusive action packed DVD can be purchased on the Exclusive Content page, or by using the button below. 4 matches, nearly 3 hours of hot, never seen before Firestorm action.

Sorry Firestormers, this DVD offering has been removed. A new DVD option will be added every week in August for Firestorm Friday.

Depending on the popularity of this offering, I might dig into the vault, and put out another DVD next weekend.

July Club Firestorm update

This is a quickie for all you Club Firestorm members. Based on the poll results, I’m going to experiment splitting the July update in two updates. I think giving everything all at once last month left many of you feeling like there wasn’t enough content. So half of it is going live now, and the other half on the 15th. If this isn’t a popular format, I’ll consider doing it weekly.

Right now there’s new material everywhere, two new FREE streaming videos, a sexy Exclusive match, a discount on the newly released Ball Bash Olympics, a couple new photo galleries are up, and a new video clip has been added.

Sneak peek

My busy travel month is over. It’s good to be home, not that I don’t enjoy being on the road. I’ve been recharging my batteries and preparing the Club Firestorm content for next month. I had everything set, but I changed my mind on some of the material I wanted to put up.

Sadly, there’s not much gossip to report on. The second Florida trip was very productive from a BG East standpoint. We had several new wrestlers compete both in the ring, and on the mat. I didn’t get much.. actually, anything done for me. The one night we did finish early the boys just wanted to go out, and have fun. We might have had a little too much fun, but nothing that prevented us from getting up and getting work done the next day. If memory serves me correctly we bar hopped from the Alibi, to Hunter’s, and ended up at the Manor.

Chicago was a fun trip, despite me coming down with some sort of bug. I ended up coming back a day early because I didn’t feel well. Originally, I was supposed to do an outdoor wrestling show with Cameron Matthews, but Mother Nature had other ideas, and the show was rained out. It’s too bad, we were expecting a decent turn out. To help hype the show, Cameron, and I did a radio show interview the night before.

Next month’s Club Firestorm update should be a good one. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming your way. Some are exclusive content, others are photo galleries, or free clips. I’m not revealing what the free streaming matches will be though. Of course there’s more that’s not pictured.

With my travel schedule this month, I released everything all at once at the beginning of the month. Is that a schedule you enjoyed, or should I spread the updates throughout the month, so that there’s something new every week? It all ends up being the same amount of content, but psychologically, it might feel better getting more frequent updates.

I’m also going to be adding a DVD option for Club Firestorm members. The vote was almost split evenly. It won’t hurt having the option, but it’s going to take me a little while to track down the original files and make them ready for DVDs. I’m also going to experiment with adding a Blu-Ray option.

Busy month, behind the scenes & previews

June is a super busy month for me. I got back from Florida on Tuesday. Here’s some more Florida gossip other than what I wrote on the free access blog. Here’s a shot of me about to depart for Lauderdale. Suns out, guns out!

We filmed 9 new matches for BG East, ranging from squash jobs, to mat matches, to X-Fights in the ring. I feel like we got some really hot material. Hopefully when it’s released you all feel the same way. A sneak peek at some of the boys prepping for the shoot.

I also filmed a brand new match for the Firestorm site, and of course that means all you Club Firestorm members will be getting it at a discounted price as soon as it’s available. In the future, I’d like to make new content available to all of you first, but with my schedule this month, I’m not sure I’m going to have time to get it all done in advance. The new match is a 21 minute back and forth ring match against Rolf Fulton. Here are some preview photos from the bout

Rolf was a handful. He gave me something to remember him by as well, it’s nearly all healed up by now

I have family that lives down in Lauderdale as well. I found some free time waiting for Rolf’s flight to arrive to get some quality time in with my sisters. Alligator BJ’s, funny faces, and a caught off guard candid.

I had all this week to recover, relax, catch up on sleep, and start the prep work for the next shoot. I’m headed back to Lauderdale again this Thursday. We have some really cool stuff planned, I’ll keep my mouth shut until it’s all confirmed, but it should top last weeks shoot! Kid Leopard promised me a whole night of ring time all for me, so I should get a lot more Firestorm material filmed.

After I’m back from Lauderdale, I’ll have 4 days to rest up, and then I’m headed to Chicago for the weekend. I’ll be wrestling on a show out there, but this trip is more for pleasure. Chicago is one of my favorite cities to visit, there’s so much to do. Good food, good shopping, fun night life, some cool architecture, decent theater. It’s like a friendlier, cleaner New York.

Has anybody attempted the diet and workout program from last month?

I’m going to end things with a request for all of you. Please, please, do not share the content I provide for you on here. I know it’s tempting, and it can be fun to stick it to the producers and upload stuff to torrents and video sites. Especially in my situation, every sale, every membership, and every discounted video is essential to Club Firestorm’s growth. I would like to be able to invest every ounce of profit from Club Firestorm back into producing new material, but if piracy becomes rampant, people won’t see the need to join, or purchase anything. I’ve already had to suspend the account of one member, please don’t make me police the internet. This is something I enjoy doing, but it’s also my job and livelihood. I wouldn’t think of coming to your place of employment and steal from you, so please don’t do it to me. I hope this is the first, and last time I’ll have to write about this.

I’m signing off for now. I’d usually do a quick proof read, and spell check, but winter is coming, and I want to make sure dinner is cooked beforehand!

My diet & workout program, free clip added

Before I get into my diet & workout program, I wanted to let you know that a free video clip of me vs. Skip Vance & Christian Taylor has been added. This is a preview clip showing one of next month’s exclusive match options. To this day, it might be one of my favorite matches I’ve ever done. There was something so fun about torturing those two.

I’m frequently asked what type of diet and workout program I do. Well, I’m going to give you a rough outline now. It would be kind of neat if any of you tried it out for a month or two and let me know how it works out for you.

The diet is fairly simple. I watch my calorie and carb intake. As long as I stay on, or under my numbers for the day, it doesn’t matter what I eat. Although, I personally like to eat high protein, low fat, and carb type of foods. The numbers I’m going by right now are 1640 calories, and 100 carbohydrates per day. I can’t recommend a starting point for any of you because those numbers were tailor made for me, and based on my height/weight/age/body fat. When I really want to cut up, I subtract 50 calories and 10 carbs per week for 6 weeks and then gradually cycle back up to my starting numbers. If I don’t like the way my progression is going, I’ll hold at the current numbers, or go back to the prior weeks numbers until I can maintain the look I want. The biggest pain in the neck is the meal prep, and reading the food labels for everything. I’ve found I can stay well fed, hunger isn’t really an issue ever. Will power is a whole different story. lol. I try to consume 1-2 grams of protein per pound of my body weight.

My typical diet each day is some variation of this

Breakfast: 4 egg whites, coffee with 1 scoop of protein and almond milk mixed in, toast with peanut butter

Lunch: 8 oz of grilled chicken with carrots and broccoli, greek yogurt

Dinner: Tilapia, steak, or a burger, broccoli, salad.

Snacks between meals: Almonds, nuts, greek yogurt, rice cakes, sugar free jello cups, protein shakes, apples, bananas.

On workout days I toss some chopped up banana pieces on my toast & pb. I have a shake post workout.

Right now I’m in the middle of changing my work out routine, so I’m posting the one I just finished up doing because I know that worked for me. I’m seeing results now from my new one, but would rather wait until I know the end result before recommending it to people.

Each day starts off with a heavy lift. Go as heavy as you can to get the desired number of repetitions for each set. After that each lift is 3 sets of 10 repetitions. I’m not counting any warmup sets, or stretching you should do prior to lifting. I rest 2 minutes between sets of the first heavy lift, and 1 minute between sets of the sets of 10. It might seem like a lot, if you’re in a hurry, or feel like it’s too much, bump it down to a minute for all. It’s only a 3 day a week workout program, each gym session should only take 45 minutes. So it’s not very time consuming.

Monday: Barbell squat: 6 sets of 3 reps. Glute hamstring raise or Romanian deadlift (depending on available gym equipment): 3 sets of 10. Bent-over barbell row: 3 sets of 10. Weighted dips: 3 sets of 10.

Wednesday: Bench press: 6 sets of 3 reps. Front squat: 3 sets of 10. Pull ups: 3 sets of 10 (add weight if need be). Barbell curl: 3 sets of 10.

Friday: Deadlift: 6 sets of 3 reps. Overhead barbell press: 3 sets of 10. Close-grip bench press: 3 sets of 10. Hanging leg (or knee) raise: 3 sets of 10.

CF: what’s next for Club Firestorm members

First off, welcome to Club Firestorm. This has been something I’ve wanted to do for quite some time now. I just wasn’t sure how I felt about branching off on my own more. I think there’s room for me to operate without rocking the boat too much with any of the bigger video companies.

After the show last weekend

After the show last weekend

I know there’s not much up for original content (not seen on jonnyfirestorm.com), but it will continue to grow each update. I’m going to be filming matches exclusively for the site, and the Club Firestorm area more frequently. I’m also going to add photo galleries when I can. I don’t like having a photographer when I’m filming. I hate the flashes constantly going off during the video. Without a flash, the photos are basically useless because they’re going to be blurry. So I’ll be grabbing stills when I can from the video. I’ll also do candid galleries of me in my everyday life, progress photos (or regression depending on my level of motivation that week), pro shows and whatever else I can think of. I’m also planning on adding a section for free video clips that preview all the videos up for sale.

Some of the other exciting stuff I’m working on rolling out to Club Firestorm members include live streaming wrestling matches. I want to broadcast the matches live, as they’re being filmed. I’ll start small at first, maybe just one match. If that goes smoothly, I’d like to broadcast part of a filming day. You’d see all the matches as they happen, and all the behind the scenes stuff. Eventually I’d like to work up to broadcasting a live “show”. I’m getting ahead of myself, first I need to figure out how to stream the video with no hiccups. I have a brand new video camera that is capable of doing live streaming, so I should be all set from a technology stand point. Speaking of behind the scenes shenanigans, post taping sleep overs. After a day of head scissors and body slams, it’s the dreaded tickle that puts people down for the count. I’m on air mattress #10 by this point. Somebody always starts wrestling after having a couple drinks (most likely I’m involved), those things aren’t made to survive suplexes.

I’m gathering up as many photos from the pro show I just did. I’m going to add a photo gallery up after the weekend.

For those of you who ordered the Custom Combat match I did with Ty, they will ship out on Monday the 11th. I think you’ll really enjoy this one. It was a lot of fun to film. Ty’s a great little jobber. If I had to bet, he’s probably been on the receiving end of more Firestorm beatings than anybody else.

Ty might be my best jobber, but he's the biggest jobber

Ty might be my best jobber, but he’s the biggest jobber

That just about wraps it up for now, I’d love to get some feedback from people about Club Firestorm. Shoot me an email and let know what you think, info@jonnyfirestorm.com
