All “heeled” up

Thank you for all the positive feedback, well wishes, and advice. I’ve been feeling much better and to steal a line from one of my top fans, I’m all “heeled up”. 2014 didn’t really end the way I wanted it to, I had some neat stuff planned out that will have to wait till next year. 2015 should be a very exciting year for all things Firestorm. Here’s quick shot of some of the things I’m working on now.

I’m starting my diet and workout program again. I put back on most of the weight I lost last year. Which is a little disappointing but I totally fell off the wagon with my diet. On the bright side, I’ll be able to document my progress (I hope it’s progress at least) and you’ll all be along with me each step of the way this time. The first two weeks are always the hardest for me. I’ve been doing pretty well so far this week, minus a couple beers and buffalo wings one night. If I can manage to stick to it this weekend and make it through next week, my abs will be back in no time!

I was on the road in the Big Apple last weekend. It was just a quick day trip to wrestle a good friend of mine. If my schedule allowed me to have more time that day, I would’ve announced it and beat down a couple more of you jobbers. I did pick the worst day of the weekend to go, between the rain and the snow walking around the city was pretty miserable. I did stop in at McGee’s pub, only to be disappointed I didn’t see Barney Stinson at the bar. I’d like to get back soon and have more time to enjoy myself without as much rushing around.

Speaking of rushing, I’m actually a lot faster than I thought. One of those things I hinted that I was working on is done, so drum roll…… Jonny Firestorm vs. Nate Walsh is available as a download in the store. This is one of my private collection matches. Nate wants to join the brotherhood of the Alpha Dom Omega, but he must survive hell week first. As part of his pledging, he needs to step foot in the ring with me. If he can impress me by taking his beating like a good pledge he might stand a chance of joining us, but if he disappoints me, it’s off to the secret room.

I’m headed down to DC/Virginia this weekend, completely decked out in my Patriots gear of course. This will be the first playoff game at Gillette Stadium I’ve missed in the past 3 seasons. Here’s hoping Tom Terrific can get some revenge for the 2012 AFC Championship game. I really think the Pats are the team to beat this year, definitely in the AFC and I like them over Seattle if and when it gets to that point.

It’s also looking like I could be down in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Is anybody else going to be down there? I’d be available for limited private wrestling, I don’t want to make it a work trip but I’m not opposed to doing one or two matches.

I’m signing off for now, I need to catch my flight in the morning.

Jonny out.

Good to hear you feeling so bright, shiny, and determined. I recall your low point awhile back and hope it is history, or as much history as life allows. Not a Patriots fan (or a football fan), but will root for them with you. Be well..

Jonny, I love the Patriots because of Tom Brady. I am a graduate of Michigan as is he.
I hope Pats beat the Colts next weekend. I look forward to the Super Bowl.
    All the best.
I look forward to you getting in shape. You’ve always looked good to me.

    Jonny,
Go Pats! I am a fan only because of Tom Brady, a graduate of Michigan, as am I.
I would love another Super Bowl win. But with Luck and Wilson coming up, it will be a stretch.
Thank God for Gronk. There was a great article on him in last week’s Sports Illustrated.
I wish you well with getting in shape again. You look great with tight abs.
    All the best.
    Tom

Jonny had a VERY exciting event last week….an invite to a private dinner with his hero Scott WIlliams. I must admit that I was surprised by his good table manners, and he even understood that Pinot Noir is a red wine, while Pinot Grigio is a white. He none-the-less was extremely disappointed that his favorite Mango Peach Wine Cooler wasn’t available….
While he’s not one for stimulating conversation (he says “Wow” a lot, and “uhm” a lot), the conversation picks up and his face brightens when I inform him of recent match activity and especially brutal beatdowns. I try to keep a straight face when he tells me of plans he has for one day taking down THIS muscle….”You might want to set some realistic goals” I say as I adjust his booster seat.
Attempts to bring the evening to a close is always difficult…so hard to see that sad face and tear streaming down his cheek upon saying goodbye.
